Ways you can help: -Get tested to see if you could be a match if you’re interested in becoming a living organ donor. -Become an organ donor if being a living organ donor is scary. -Share this post as many times and in as many places as possible. Worried you won’t be a match? Did you know that there is a paired exchange program for individuals with living donors, who are not a match. This program cross-references everybody who has a willing donor and exchanges all the donors to match the recipients so while your Kidney might not go to the person you are donating for they will be receiving somebody else’s Kidney at the same time you are donating yours to somebody else. |
